It’s easy to be positive when things are going right. What if I told you it’s times when things aren’t as good as you like them to be that it is more important than ever to put out positive vibes into the world?
You’d say it’s impossible. It’s too much to ask a person to remain positive when you’ve been passed over on let’s say a new job promotion. Maybe you’ll say something like why should I be positive when everyone around me is doing so much better yet they are some of the most negative people I know.
I would say what matters most is you and what energy you put out. Believe me when I tell you energy is your super power.
Have you ever noticed that when things are good they continue to be good? Almost like a snowball effect. I’ve been in situations where every day is a new achievement bringing me closer and closer to goals I was dreaming of.
However, I have also been in situations where the opposite has been true and I found myself in a situation it took almost 2 ½ years to get out of.
What did I Do?
I kept my energy up. I kept working.
I stopped complaining and saw my way out.
You see it was during this time that I realized putting out bad energy would only see more of it to come. The more I complained the worse it got because I was unable to see positive out of the situation. Leaving me feeling hopeless. Stuck, to be frank.
There was no motivational quote or book that was going to somehow fix this. The only thing I had complete control over was what energy was I going to put out. The more positive energy I put out the better my situation became. It allowed me to think more clearly and critically of the situation I was in.
Learning to be positive when situations are at their worse is critical!
So my advice: Strap up the boots when things get hard and keep on trekking. If your gonna keep complaining about the situation, then you’d better get comfortable where you are at.
